Insights Into Generation Y

Research from the Center for Culinary Development, San Francisco, provides insight into what makes Generation Y tick when it comes to food.

“It’s time we pay attention to what and how this large and lucrative group wants to eat,” said Kimberly Egan, chief executive officer, Center for Culinary Development. “For businesses to thrive, it’s imperative to understand how to satisfy the cravings of this market-changing population.”

Results from this research reveal viable approaches to ethnic foods for Gen Y, how to capitalize on “mood foods,” the importance of flavor layering and healthy ingredients, and more.
